WooEscrow: WooCommerce Crypto Plugin Development

WooEscrow is a custom WooCommerce crypto payment solution developed to bring decentralized payment functionality into WordPress marketplaces. The platform combines blockchain development, crypto wallet integration, and escrow payment handling within a scalable WooCommerce ecosystem.

The project focused on building a secure Web3 payment infrastructure that supports wallet-to-wallet transactions, vendor settlements, and marketplace commission automation. As a result, businesses can accept cryptocurrency payments while improving transaction security, transparency, and payment flexibility.

The client needed a custom WooCommerce crypto plugin that could support decentralized payments and escrow-based transactions directly inside marketplace workflows. The platform also needed self-custodial wallet functionality, smart contract settlements, and multi-chain blockchain support.

In addition, the client wanted automated vendor commission handling and scalable blockchain infrastructure integrated directly into the WooCommerce checkout experience. At the same time, the platform needed to remain user-friendly and simple for marketplace users.

We developed WooEscrow completely from scratch instead of relying on traditional crypto payment plugins. First, we built a custom WooCommerce plugin that supports cryptocurrency checkout, wallet management, escrow handling, and decentralized payment workflows.

Next, we integrated Tatum, Alchemy, and Web3.js to power blockchain communication, wallet interaction, and smart contract functionality. In addition, we used PHP and React to create a scalable backend system with a modern and responsive user experience.

To improve usability further, we also integrated MoonPay for buying, selling, and swapping cryptocurrencies directly inside the wallet system. Overall, our approach combined blockchain product development with WooCommerce integration to deliver a scalable and modern Web3 payment solution.
